6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Baking Dish: Begin by greasing a 9x13 inch baking dish with either unsalted butter or non-stick cooking spray. Set this aside for later use.

    Melt the Butter: In a large saucepan, place the unsalted butter over medium heat. Allow it to melt fully, stirring occasionally, until it starts to bubble.

      Incorporate Marshmallows: Once the butter has melted, add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan. Stir continuously with a spatula until the marshmallows have completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

        Mix in Pumpkin Puree: Stir in the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt into the melted marshmallow mixture. Keep stirring for about one minute until all ingredients are well combined and the consistency is smooth.
