Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup pitted cherries (can be fresh or frozen)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust based on your preferred sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for a creamier texture)

A pinch of sea salt (to enhance the overall flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Cherries:

    - If you're using fresh cherries, wash them well, pit them, and then chop them into smaller bite-sized pieces. If opting for frozen cherries, allow them to thaw just enough so that they're easier to chop, then cut them up as needed. Set aside the prepared cherries.

      Mix the Yogurt Base:

        - In a medium mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Use a whisk or a spatula to thoroughly blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

          Incorporate the Cherries:

            - Carefully fold the chopped cherries into the yogurt mixture. Use a gentle motion to make sure the cherries are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt without breaking them down too much.

              Fill the Molds:

                - Take silicone ice cube trays or any small molds and pour the yogurt-cherry mixture into each compartment. Gently tap the trays on the counter to release any trapped air bubbles and to ensure the yogurt is evenly settled.

                  Melt the Chocolate:

                    - In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using). Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval, until the mixture is completely smooth and melted.

                      Drizzle the Chocolate:

                        - Once your yogurt cubes are filled, take the melted chocolate and drizzle it over the top of each cube. You can use a spoon or a fork creatively to create patterns. To enhance the flavor, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on each cube.

                          Freeze the Cubes:

                            - Place the filled molds into the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or until the cubes are completely solid. For the best results, it's recommended to leave them in overnight.

                              Serve:

                                - Once frozen, gently pull the yogurt cubes out of the molds. You can enjoy them immediately or store any leftovers in a zip-lock bag in the freezer for later snacking!

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 6 hours | Servings: Approximately 12 cubes

                                    - Presentation Tips: Consider serving the yogurt cubes in a decorative bowl, and garnish with additional fresh cherries or a drizzle of leftover melted chocolate for extra flair!
