Place this baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the banana slices are frozen solid.

    Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Keep a close eye to prevent overheating and burning the chocolate.

      Coat the Bananas: Once the banana slices are frozen, dip each slice into the melted chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the baking sheet. For an extra thick coating, feel free to double-dip by dipping the slices in the chocolate a second time.
